Friday: The sunny Ithaca weather (something we RARELY encounter) inspired me to hit the trail along Cayuga lake which for all you familiar with upstate NY lead me from Ithaca to Lansing. After 6 miles of running/sweating/dying/pain I called it quits for the weekend. Hoping to be re-inspired to go tomorrow, but after what seemed like 8 months of hibernation, my body is just not ready for these rays of sun beating down on me. Besides, the barbeque-ing, tanning, senior-itis-ing and general sunny weather mayhem has been a bit of a distraction :)
